TMNT: The Last Ronin Trailer Reveals Darker Video Game Adaptation

The first trailer for TMNT: The Last Ronin was showcased during the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase. The game, based on the popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, is currently under development for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms. However, no release date has been announced yet.

The trailer sets a dark tone, featuring four lit candles representing each of the Ninja Turtles. As the trailer progresses, viewers see a Ninja Turtle mask fall, a city on fire, and a hail of arrows. The candles gradually go out until only one remains lit. At the end of the trailer, a piece of concept art depicts the surviving turtle battling enemy robots, accompanied by the text "In Development."

The Last Ronin is based on a comic book event of the same name, which was well-received upon its release in October 2020. The storyline takes place in a future, war-torn New York City buy Dark And Darker Gold Coins, where a lone surviving Turtle sets out on a seemingly impossible mission to seek justice for his fallen family.
